Near Lecce, this massive bonfire festival honors Saint Anthony with lively traditional music, local cuisine, and plenty of wine, creating a vibrant continuation of the festive season. The "Fòcara" is ignited in tribute to the patron saint of animals, symbolizing the start of the agricultural year.
